Saint Cyriacus was a chaste Christian martyr killed during the Diocletianic persecution. He was born into a noble patrician family and converted, giving his wealth to the poor. He was ordained a deacon and ministered to the Christian slaves who built the Roman baths.  A successful exorcist, he freed Diocletian’s daughter from a demon. When the baths were completed, Diocletian killed them all, including St. Cyriacus.
