Saint Mary of Clopas was the wife of Clopas (or Cleophas) and one of the "Three Marys" who served Jesus and was present at the Crucifixion (John 19:25) and brought myrrh to the tomb on Easter morning. She is generally recognized as the mother of James the Lesser and Joses (or Joseph), and is identified by church tradition as the sister-in-law of the Virgin Mary, as Clopas is commonly believed to be St. Joseph's brother. Her relics are said to be in France at the Church of the Saintes Maries de la Mer.
