Father Patrick Peyton, also known as the “The Rosary Priest”, was born in Ireland, immigrated to the US, and eventually became a priest with the Congregation of the Holy Cross. In 1938 he was diagnosed with tuberculosis but was cured through the intercession of the Blessed Mother Mary. He then devoted his life to promoting the rosary. He used the media with the help of prominent celebrities, political and religious personalities, to reach millions of people all over the world. Fr. Peyton's final days were under the care of the Little Sisters of the Poor.
