Saint Vincent Pallotti was an Italian mystic, missionary, and miracle worker. He was a third-order Franciscan and a secular priest. He wanted to evangelize all faiths and renew the Catholic faith through a collaboration of priests and laity to help the underprivileged by establishing a Catholic Apostolate that founded orphanages, agriculture schools, loan associations, and homes for girls, etc. He had a great love for our Blessed Mother and always carried a picture of her. He died in 1850 from a severe cold and when he was exhumed 100 years later, examiners found his body to be completely incorrupt.  Today the Society of the Catholic Apostolate consists of the Pallottine Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Missionary Sisters, and lay people.
