Saint Lillian (Lilian) was a Christian living in 9th-century Spain during Moorish rule. After being exposed as Christians, she and her husband, St. Felix, were given four days to convert to Islam. Remaining steadfast in their faith, they were ultimately beheaded alongside many others. Known for her profound faith and love of neighbor, Saint Lillian is often depicted with a cross, symbolizing her devotion, and a palm branch, representing her martyrdom.
